| Introduction | After two decades of studying visual arts, including figure drawing and oil painting, I am beginning the long journey into the exciting realm of medicine. First stop, medical school. While the curriculum will be both fascinating and rigorous, I will need to keep hold of my artistic side to keep me sane and become a better practitioner. The fusion of right and left brain, creativity and logic, art and science, will create a synergistic fusion of knowledge to help me solve problems and better help people. As I endure medical school, I hope to share some of the stressful, enlightening experiences about my journey to becoming a doctor while also sharing different things about art! |
