Introduction	The Young Women Christian Association is a Christian,Non Partisan, Non Governmental Organization which was established in 1957 and is dedicated to the empowerment of Children, Youths and Women inorder to realise their potential and contribute postively to a just society. YWCA PROGRAMS 1.Women Human Rights Program Drop in centres Shelter for Battered women Advocacy / Outreach and Networking Child in crisis centres(cicc) 2. Youth Programs Adolescent Youth and Reproductive health Community and school outreach Peer counselling Youth saturday meetings Safe Space Projects in schools Youth Empowerment Programs 3.Economic Empowerment Program This comprises of various activities aimed at empowering vulnerable groups in the community to be able to engaged in income generating activities. 4. Men's Network 5. General Membership Membership fee is K20,000 every year.
