Introduction	I am from a small town in South Texas. Ever since I was young, I have loved being outside and being around people. Growing up, I enjoyed planning activities and games with my friends to create great memories and strong relationships. I have seen first-hand the positive effect of recreation in a person’s life and want to help impact other people’s lives positively as well. In April, I will graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in Recreation Management with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and minor in Psychology. I plan to sit for the NCTRC exam in October. I have volunteered with foster children, people with disabilities, at-risk youth, adults with autism, and geriatrics. I look forward now to working in Dallas Texas as a TRS!
