| Introduction | I am a 13 year old girl living with Type 1 Diabetes. I was diagnosed when I was 5 years old on January 17, 2008. The day I was diagnosed with diabetes my parents were also told I had a heart condition. That was corrected, but it was a long year!! I'm 7 years older now and a lot has changed.
