Introduction My disease, what got me here, doesn't matter. It's not exactly appetizing dinner conversation. Suffice it to say, I have learned the hard way that I am what I eat. Now, after a few years of suffering and healing, I am picky. I eat local and, whenever possible, organic. I eat foods that someone has taken the time and concern to raise in a healthy manor. I am gluten free. I have a care for how much and what kind of meats and dairy go into my body. I am not finicky. I will try anything that doesn't fall under my allergy restrictions. My only requirement is that I know the source and that the source meets my standards. I am thrilled when I find a restaurant that has a philosophy similar to my own and understands the difficulties of dining out for someone with food related health problems. I spent a lot of time searching the web, hoping to find some centralized source for information about local restaurants. I never really found what I wanted so figured it was up to me to write it. So here goes...
