| Introduction | I have had a life long love affair with food, though GMO corn made my life a misery for 10 years, until I figured out I was very allergic to it- and so are my kids. We cannot eat corn, grits, modified food starch (seriously- it's in everything!), cornstarch (also in everything), or food starch (because food starch is almost always corn). Some weird things cornstarch shows up in- cheese, both sliced and shredded, and in American cheese, powdered sugar, baking powder- and many other things (like pills! So we have to be very careful with medicines) |
