| Introduction | Hi ~ My name is Cathy and I have been chronically ill for over seven years. At the present time, I have another more "diluted" blog. It has been up and running for approximately one and one half years. I do enjoy writing about my struggles, while trying to highlight the better, unexpected moments...treasures. I have found, as I progress, that I am not comfortable being completely honest on that blog. There are so many facets to being so ill, both physically, mentally and emotionally. Even though many of my readers are very close family and friends, I am still uncomfortable sharing the ugly side of this condition. This blog, is by invitation only. I really do want to keep it narrowed down to those that are also very ill, or are in the medical profession. I am more than happy to expand my current mailing list base, upon suggestions from my readers. Although, I do want them to be in our boat too. I desperately need the freedom of telling it like it is, without the thought of a reader, thinking "yuck/ew, etc." I know my sick friends are all on my same page. If you know of someone that would want to be part of this small, little club, please let me know. |
