Introduction My fascination about the development possibilities of human beings was already there at the end of my secondary school period. However, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the will of Eastern Europeans to take their lives in their own hands, the freedom of Nelson Mandela and the end of the Cold War between the SU and the US, inspired me to look even more closely to the self-fulfillment possibilities of human beings. Those events triggered my motivation to search how to contribute to the development of human beings as a historian, geographer, cultural-anthropologist, teacher and coach by providing historic and geographic education, the coaching of pupils, students and teachers and being active in development organizations.
