| Introduction | baba zayid muhammad is a long time human rts activist, organizer and people's artist, approaching 40 years of community service. he is a free lance writer currently doing press for three important social justice organizations, the Malcolm X Comm Cmte (NYC) of which he is a founding member, the Newark AntiViolence Coalition, of which he is also a founding member, and the People's Organization for Progress. He is one of the more well known 'cubs' of the legendary NY chapter of the Black Panther Party.
