| Introduction | AN AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL NOTE. So this Duck walks into a bar and asks the Bartender for some corn. The Bartender says no, and the Duck walks out. The next day the Duck walks back into the same bar and asks the Bartender, "Do you have any corn?" The Bartender replies, "No. I told you yesterday. This is a bar, we serve drinks." The Duck hops off the stool and waddles out. The next day the Duck shows back up and again asks for some corn. To this the Bartender, with some anger, says, "Listen, I told you yesterday and I told you the day before that this is a bar; we serve drinks. If you come back in asking for corn, I'm going to nail you up to that wall by your little webbed feet." The Duck leaves. The next day, the Duck returns and asks the Bartender, "Do you have any nails?" "No." "Well then, do you have any corn?" |
