| Introduction | My name is Jean and I have been married to Larry since April 5, 1975. I have two sons, Paul and John. Paul is married to a wonderful girl named Julie and lives in Illinois where he is pursuing a Master's degree, and John is attending college. I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I am a Suburban Homesteader wannabe. I came to know the Lord on December 31, 1975. The Lord has taught me so much in all these years, but the greatest amount of growth and understanding has come during the past 10 years as He has led me in discovering the Hebraic roots of my faith. We heat our home with a woodstove. I dry my clothes on a clothesline. I make my own yogurt and buttermilk. I make kombucha. I have a grain mill and mill my own flour to make bread and baked goods. I experiment all the time with new ways to cook and eat. I make homemaking a priority because that is the calling that the Lord has placed on my life in His Word.
