| Favorite music | I'm not set on any one genre. I LOVE LOVE LOVE John Denver. He's my all time favorite. I like country, some alternative rock like Matchbox 20, I like some of the older stuff like Collective Soul, Vertical Horizon, and R.E.M. I love Enya, Alison Krauss, Jars of Clay and bluegrass and much more. It just depends on the mood I'm in! |
| Favorite books | I read A LOT when I was younger...among my favorite authors were Gary Paulsen and Caroline B. Cooney. The Island by Gary Paulsen was probably my favorite book of his, though I read over 30 of his books. My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George was great too. My all time favorite forever is Laura Ingalls Wilder. I've read almost NO adult fiction as I got married before I ever left the "young adult" phase of my life and have not had time to read since then! I have very much enjoyed reading the "non fiction" works of Michael and Debi Pearl when I do have time to sit down and read! A new passion of mine is a magazine called Mary Jane's Farm. She also has written some books that I would LOVE to own. |
