| Introduction | Dr. Larry Felkins began serving as Director of the Chilton Baptist Association in July 1997. The Association is made up of 56 cooperating Southern Baptist Churches located in Chilton County, Alabama. Larry is active in Southern Baptist life, having served on several committees at the state and national levels. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary, the Board of Regents at the University of Mobile and as an Adjunct Professor for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Larry's wife Judy is an active partner in ministry and serves on the Association staff. They have two married daughters living in South Carolina; Rachael, married to Chef Robbie Nicolaisen and Leigh Ann, married to Dr. Keith Sharp; and three grandaughters; Bayley age 18, Georgia age 16 (Leigh Ann's daughters)and Paisley age 3 (Rachael's daughter). Rachael and Robbie are also in the process of adopting a daughter from China. Dr. Felkins is a graduate of Samford University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with postgraduate studies at Trinity Theological Seminary. |
