| Introduction | On a college students budget I tend to find myself bargain shopping... a lot. Like there's definitely a 90% chance Mackelmore wrote his "Thrift Shop" song based upon my life, or so I like to think. Nonetheless I've realized style is not about the cost of the clothing, but rather how the clothing is worn. As an avid thifter I've certainly encountered some hella weird and funky clothing; clothes that i'm not surprised the previous owner got rid of. And since I cannot resist a challenge, I've decided to purchase the 'strange' clothing i've encountered in an attempt to "make it work". But, I'm not limiting myself to just thrift shop finds, I'll also be styling clothes from traditional retail stores, that are often overlooked or disregarded. |
