| Introduction | We would like to spread awareness about the incurable genetic disease, which took our daughter Addison Bella's life called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She had SMA type 1, the most severe of the 4. Most babies affected by the disease don't live to see their 2nd birthday. The ones who are affected and do live past their 2nd birthday are wheelchair bound, tube fed and most have a ventilator attached to... their chair at all times.
