| Introduction | I started making beer in August of 2012. I studied Palmer's 'How to Brew' on-line version, assembled/fabricated equipment, and started brewing. My first batch was all-grain, crushing the malt with a rolling pin. I have accumulated more equipment, joined a couple brewers' clubs, made weekly 3 gallon batches for a few years to optimize recipe development, and now do larger batches every 2 weeks or so, including keeping a lager in fermentation most of the time. |
