| Introduction | I am a Christian who is still growing in the Lord moment by moment. I grew up in the Roman Catholic Church, but have been exploring my faith in recent months. I guess you could catagorize me as a non-protesting Protestant. In other words, I do not attend mass with any kind of regularity, however, I have nothing bad to say or anything against the Catholic Church other that right now it is not the direction the Lord has lead my family and I. I am a devoted husband and father of 1 with number 2 on the way Christmas eve. I believe that if we as Christians could just get on the ball and learn to adapt to each other and stop finding fault with how others view Christianity, that maybe we as believers could actually come together and pray for a solution that change might actually occur. Instead it seems like everyone needs to convert the other guy to their way (or their own perspective) of what a Christian should be and how they should live out their lives. Instead of fighting let's actually fight for the cause that seems to, in the long run, seperate us from each other and more importantly removes us from a fuller relationship with the Lord. |
| Interests | I enjoy a wide range of interests. Spending my time with my beautiful wife and son and the extended family, reading Scripture, fellowshiping in the Lord, books, movies, some television, great food and beverage. |
| Favorite Movies | First things first...STAR WARS, enough said! I love movies. My favorite movies are one that make me laugh until I cry. I love the Austin Powers movies, family movies, most of Mel Brooks films. I enjoy action films, and the romantic movies with my wife. VeggieTales rock. I have always liked period movies especially things involving the Civil War, or the Big Band era. |
| Favorite Music | Wow, I am a musician myself, and there are so many influences in my life musically. I don't even have a favorite style of music. I am just discovering The Man in Black, Johnny Cash. I am just drawn to his music. I like most everything but rap music. I really dig Old C&W, most forms of jazz, rock, Southern Gospel (Gaither, Statler Bros), most of the Christian music that is out there. My Christian favorites are, Keith Green, Rich Mullens, John Michael Talbot, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, and the list could really go on and on, so I will stop there. |
| Favorite Books | The origional book of course, the Bible. I love C.S. Lewis Mere Christianity, and the Narnia series, John C. Maxwell's Leadership books, Donald Miller, John Eldridge just to name a few. The Purpose Driven Life is another one of the books I enjoyed reading. |
