| Introduction | I grew up in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks and majored in Print Communications at SE Missouri State University. I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, then converted to Eastern Orthodox Christianity. I've worked in nursing homes and on newspapers; waited tables and silk-screened in a sign factory; clerked in a post office, and a hardware store. I've sold antiques, and delivered appliances. My career wound up in environmental health, where I was a health inspector for some 16 years before moving to Oklahoma. Now I spend my days concentrating on my family; home schooling our son, photographing butterflies and wildflowers, and generally following whatever interest I have on any given day. |
