| Introduction | I tend to find solace in reading during stressful times. Over the past several months I have been going through a contentious and ugly divorce, and I've been devouring books. I've wanted to share the joy of a really good book, or the disappointment of one that didn't work out for me. I thought about joining a book group, but am too picky about what I read -- not in a snobby only-read-from-the-cannon kind of way, but in a I-can't-deal with-that-kind-of-book-right-now kind of way. I'm hoping this space will let me rave about the books I loved, complain about the ones I didn't and give some sort of voice to my "bibliophilic" journey through this divorce. |
