| Introduction | I am a husband. I am a father. Those are the two most important things to know about me. Like all men, I can sometimes fall into the trap of identifying myself with my work, my job, or my accomplishments; but I always come back to this: I am a husband. I am a father. God blessed me with an amazing wife: she is intelligent enough to humble me, caring enough to push me, warm enough to temper me, consistent enough to ground me. Together, we make a great team. I think we are pretty good parents (though, we are still figuring out the rules to the game as we go) to a couple of great kids. Thank you, God, for all of your many blessings! |

| Favorite books | F. Paul Wilson's Repairman Jack novels (and really his entire Adversary Cycle), Orson Scott Card's Ender novels., Truth be told though - while I was never a big fan of the Homecoming series I have really enjoyed everything else Card has written. |
