| Introduction | Hi! I’m Harold Willmington. An expert on the Bible? Not even close. In fact my wife would probably say I’m not an expert on much of anything (of course my little granddaughter Abigail thinks I am an expert on everything). But I do believe a gracious God has trusted me with an expertise, and that is in giving people the big picture in regards to various biblical truths. The master “big picture” teacher was of course the Savior, who on one occasion (following His resurrection) summarized the entire Old Testament for two disciples en route to Emmaus. Do you remember their reaction to all this? “And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?” (Luke 24:32). So then, in teaching my students, preaching my sermons, and writing my books—the ever present goal is to give God’s people spiritual heartburn. Have a great day. |
