Introduction	I recently received my bachelor's in flute performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. I studied there with Renee Krimsier and was an active performer in both the orchestral and chamber contexts. I was also an involved member of the NEC community, acting as the Chief Editor of the school's newspaper, The Penguin, and participating in multiple student affairs committees and events. I have decided to take a year or two off prior to Grad school to determine what the next step will be as well as where music can take me. Boston has become a home for me, and I plan to stay here during my time off. In the meantime, I will be working a day job (TBA) as well as perform with various ensembles I have been with and known for several years now. I created the blog Opus of Sweets to demonstrate another passion of mine: baking. Cooking in general is something I love, but baking has become a speciality (especially amongst friends who have had the opportunity to try said creations).
