| Introduction | I was born in the winter of 2004. One thing led to another, and, at the tender age of 2, I was helping protect a small group of cats and kittens with an Orange Cat known as Tucker in an abandoned house in Lavalle, WI. As things were beginning to look bleak, we were rescued by the dedicated staff and volunteers of the Sauk County Humane Society (WI). A couple months later, while resting in my clean but modest top floor 2x2x2 apartment, my charming friend at SCHS introduced me to Boo, my male person, who, in turn, introduced me to Oom, my female person, and Alex, the Iowa Wildcat. I decided to keep them and after living in Wisconsin - the land of great rivers, and on the East End of Long Island - the land of big sky over water, we have all settled in the beauteous Adirondack Park. I enjoy exploring my world, taking walks with my people, playing with Alex, observing humans and their often odd antics, smelling and tasting new things (not birds or critters though I have considered licking frogs and I enjoy the bouquet of a good Bordeaux), peering out of high windows, crawling into dark spaces, chasing balls, and sleeping (preferably on Oom or in a windowsill). |
