About me

Introduction	I find that I am drawn to retro and rustic items. My aesthetic can be described as vintage farmhouse, for the most part - casual, worn, comfortable. I love the patina that certain things gain with age and the story that it conveys. The worn silver off a mirror-back, a barn pulley used to hang a birdcage, and rusted iron finials as bookends make me smile. I am often finding items that I want to "rejuvenate" in some fashion or form. Some of these redux items make their way into my Etsy shop, RefinedRefaire. I also love the challenge of creating a wonderful and interesting garden. There is always a new project or planting in the works. My husband has come to fear the words, "I have an idea." Last, and by no means least, I freely admit to shoe lust. My motto: "If they're cute, they're mine!"
