| Introduction | Starting fall 2016, I will be one of two librarians at Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, VA. Prior to working in k-12 libraries I worked as a metadata librarian at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have also worked in special collections and archives. Today, I love incorporating digital surrogates of these unique primary sources into my instruction whenever possible. As a librarian, I am interested in creating an environment that nutures curiosity. For me, this means maker spaces, coding stations, primary source materials, diverse collections, and, most importantly, being open to trying new things. Come explore with me! |
