About me

GenderFemale
LocationMidwest, United States
Introduction I’m a Southern transplant to the Midwest. I love the Lord and want my life to please Him. I love my family, especially the kindest husband ever, the greatest kids and the sweetest grandkids to ever grace the earth. I love to cook, to take care of my home, learn, teach…and sweet tea. I’ll be writing about my home, especially about changing things to make it a better place for our family---inexpensively. Many family members have food allergies, so I’ll share my tweaked recipes. I’m a teacher and lifetime learner. I’m a former homeschooler (They grew up!), and a former classroom teacher. I’ll write about teaching, learning, and doing so inexpensively. As life has become increasingly busy, I’ll write about hospitality. We have settled into a rut where we rarely have anyone over (other than grandchildren), because we are so, so busy. I’d like to climb out of that rut, and become hospitable again. The ideas are my own. I will always give credit to others' ideas. The photos I use are my own, unless otherwise noted. Please observe copyright laws if you utilize any of my work. I don’t mind sharing, but do it legally and ask permission. Thank you.
