| Introduction | I'm employed as a line pilot for a commercial operator engaged in offshore oil field support based in Louisiana. I work a week on/week off schedule which has its advantages and its drawbacks. I've been flying helicopters for over 30 years, first as a Marine aviator, and now commercially. My aviation interests run the gamut from space flight to GA, but my heart belongs to helicopters. They're my profession, but also my hobby. Living in Pensacola, Florida, the "Cradle of Naval Aviation," I have ready access to two of my favorite aviation attractions in the entire world, the National Museum of Naval Aviation, and the Blue Angels, both of which I visit often. |
