| Introduction | I created this blog as a place to put my thoughts. To get them from my crowded mind into a space that I can see them. A space full of inspirations, observations and reflections that I can come to when I lose sight of the silver lining and the brighter side of things. A place filled with the things that will reset me, uplift me, help me remember to breathe. A place that bolsters my courage and lays gentle grace at my feet. I share these journals here for those who are seeking to replenish their inner strength and for those who need to be reminded of their song. |
| Interests | I have a creative heart. I am a self proclaimed artist and my philosophy that I apply to art, I try to apply to my life. Sometimes easier said than done on the life part. I let my art guide me, to evolve and change into what it is meant to be. If I try to stay in the constraints of the original plan it feels like I'm going against the grain but if I allow what ever it is that I am creating to change and move in its own direction it ends up better then I could have imagined. Creativity speaks, you just have to listen. Life is very much the same. I am inspired by the beauty around me and the wide open countryside that I live in with my family in the Pacific Northwest. I routinely fall behind on house keeping because I am either creating something in my sewing studio or out and about hiking or taking a drive to get pictures of our beautiful landscape. When I am not creating or out and about you can find me in the kitchen. |
