Introduction	For a time during the 1980s, Velveeta used the advertising jingle, "Colby, Swiss and Cheddar, blended all together, for a creamy taste that melts with ease!" in its U.S. television commercials to explain its taste and texture. For the rest of the 1980s, Colby was teased in grade school with the jingle “Colby, Swiss, and Cheddar, blended all together for the nasty taste of Colby.” It was many years after that until Colby embraced his name sake, and reveled in all the awesomeness that it is being named Colby. Though it's hard to find his name upon gift shop chotskies and brick-a-brack, he's usually the only Colby in the crowd and he wouldn't have it any other way!
