| Introduction | Hi!, Hello!, and a Great Big Howdyyy! From the Texas Hill Country! O.K. I admit it! I’m a junkyard junkie, dumpster diving grandma, passionately recycling unwanted materials into one-of-a- kind creations. I take discarded items found anywhere, and everywhere, even the side of the road, and rework them into works of art. I’m a little Folk-Artish, a little dreamy, a little whimsical (sometimes), a little odd, and over-the-top (sometimes), and very serious about other things, but I love what I do! As I said above , I live in Texas, Dripping springs, to be exact, just outside of Austin! I have 2 grown sons and 2 grandchildren, 2 wonderful, little dogs, who think they are human, and oh, yes, a wonderful husband! I just love taking something that is broken, old, rusty, forgotten...and transforming it into something new and useful again, saving it from its destiny at the junkyard. Actually, one of my dreams, is to have a Junk-Junkie’s Junk Shop ™. A place where artists, or aspiring artists, hobbyists, or shabby chicers and assemblage and altered anything enthusiasts can come to find the materials they need for a project....Some day....! |
