Introduction	I can’t tell you how many sewing projects I have muddled my way through because I don’t know the best way to accomplish what I’m trying to do successfully. Even after sewing for close to 50 years I feel the more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know. Now that my kiddos are grown, I am taking the time to tackle more complex projects and stretch my sewing skills rather than quick and dirty, get-it-done ones. As the Education Director for the American Sewing Expo, a Certified Islander Sewing Systems Instructor a board member of the National Sewing Council, and a member of the Haute Couture Club of Chicago I’ve had the opportunity to meet the very best sewing experts in the country. Not everyone has access to this wonderful wealth of knowledge so I will bring you interviews and techniques from the experts as I take you through my own projects. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.
