| Introduction | I am the Technology Coordinator and Computer Lab teacher for Lucy Ellen Moten Elementary School and Whittier Elementary School in Washington, D.C. I teach students in Head Start through 6th grade how to use computers and other technological equipment for research purposes, to create presentations, spreadsheets and other activities. When I am not teaching or assisting teachers, I coordinate the Technology Club and am the textbook manager. As Technology Club Coordinator I teach select students from each classroom how to trouble shoot basic problems for their teachers in my absence. In my role as textbook manager I am responsible for issuing textbooks to teachers and students, collecting those textbooks at the end of the year, requesting additional textbooks, maintaining the school’s Destiny Textbook Management System. During my spare time I love to travel. In 2001 my family started a bi-annual tradition of cruising. We have cruised to many places in the Caribbean and Mediterranean on Carnival Cruise Lines. Next year we plan to cruise to Northern Europe. When I am not cruising I like to go skiing or visiting family and friends in other states. |
