Introduction | Breadmaking is what I do to help ends meet. Writing is what I do because I can’t not do it. I do one out of necessity and one out of desire. Yet, breadmaking and writing–they both knead into the other’s territory. Breadmaking is an art; yet, so is writing. Breadmaking provides nourishment for the soul; yet, so does writing. Breadmaking feeds myself as well as others; so does writing. Bread is made from grain that is provided from our Creator God; my ability to form words into prose is also a provision from our Utmost. Need kneads into need, breadmaking and writing converging upon one another to create grains of nourishment. Throw in some parenting, running, and ministry for some added spice, the Divine forever sprinkling His touch upon the ingredients…molding, creating, and forming. Through my feeble and weak manna-making hands, I am praying God will refresh, energize and encourage much food for thought. |
