| Introduction | Hi, This is Adwait. I consider myself as a Development sector practitioner. My journey in the development sector started 2010 when I left my job in the corporate in pursuit of finding a more meaningful life. After spending initial few years roaming around rural, tribal parts of the Maharashtra to understand the challenges faced by people living at the bottom of the pyramid. Decided to start own initiative along with my wife Pranali and it opened another chapter of our life. I strongly believe that every child deserves a safe, secure and happy childhood irrespective of the socio-economic condition in which he / she is born into. My purpose of life is creating spaces of learning and support for children to give them a fair chance to stand up and take control of their life, to live a life with dignity which they deserve. I am quite a workaholic who also believes in maintaining perfect balance between professional and personal life. (Bit odd combination). In my free time you will find me reading, listening to music, playing synthesizer, watching movies, spending time with friends and testing a fine cuisine in a restaurant or a roadside stall. |
