| Introduction | Bettina is a native of Germany and has lived in the United States since 1989. She attended the University of Bremen in Germany and earned a master’s degree in special education. Her teaching career evolved into becoming a teacher for Centering Prayer. Bettina studied spirituality at both the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., and the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass. She is a certified spiritual director and leads retreats in Canada and the United States. |
