Introduction	I am a feminist. I work, read and study. I love my partner [male], my family and friends. It sickens me and chills my soul to see women portrayed as objects and "fillers" on television, movies and advertising. Women are still not earning equal pay, nor being promoted at the same rate as men. Yet, in a climate of rampant individualism, personal and political rarely meet as everyone is caught in the rip-tide called 'survival'.
