Introduction | Born: Nashville, TN. I've been happily married to Jan for 41 years. We have two grown sons and two grandkids. Bachelor's Degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University--1972. Commissioned in the Army Medical Service Corps and served on active duty for 12 years. Army Reserve for 17 years. Retired colonel. Master's degree from Clark University, Worcester, MA--1978. Graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, 1992. Graduate of the Education for Ministry program--University of the South (Sewanee) Episcopal School of Theology. Worked as a corporate executive from 84 to 99 (OD/HR/Operations/Sales)and simultaneously served in the Army Reserve until retiring as a colonel in 2001.
