| Introduction | I am the pastor of St. James Evangelical Luteheran Church in Youngstown, PA. I am happily married to Kim, and we have two marvelous children. I am the book review editor of "Lutheran Partners" magazine. I am adjunct lecturer for Saint Vincent College and Seton Hill University. I have a doctorate in ministry and am working on a Ph.D. in English at the Indiana University of PA. I am the Lectionary Blog Moderator for the website www.goodpreacher.com as well as the author of the weekly "Prayers for Worship" column for the same website. I have written a chapbook of poetry entitled, "Poedifier" (2005, Plowman Ministries)and a book on preaching entitled, "Words Fitly Spoken: Biblical Guidance for More Powerful Preaching" (2008, CSS Publishers). I have a middle-grade children's book about a journey through hell entitled, "H-E-Double Hockey Stick" (25,000 words) for which I am searching for a publisher. My "Satan's Blog" blog site is a blog-novel. |
