| Introduction | Blind-sighted, face-blind and word-deaf on just one side since birth, I'm happy to announce that I am no longer a 2-D person in a 3-D world. I’m still a reader with dyslexia, yet one who can quickly skim/retain large amounts of info. And a writer with dysgraphia, aspien traits and mild attention deficit, who with the aid of a Macintosh computer has published my own work. I am also a composer with dyscalculia, who can spontaneously compose easier then speaking aloud. And a sometime artist with aphantasia, whose photography and graphics needs only an iPad to imagine what cannot otherwise be seen. In short, my gifts may have always been imperfect, but the ability to perceive and "think different" has made those talents unique and IMHO worthwhile. This IS my normal. |
