| Introduction | I am a former art instructor/ museum educator who is now retired and finding my voice as an acrylic painter. I grew up outside of Manhattan, N.Y. during the 60's and have been greatly influenced by the work of the abstract expressionists. I love expressing myself by pushing paint around. |
| Interests | Besides experimenting with mixed media artwork I like gardening. I live in Sisters, Oregon now and our growing season is short but I still love getting out there and encouraging plants to grow. In Calif. I had a lush beautiful garden with almost no effort at all. |
| Favorite movies | The movies that I like are usually in the theaters about 3 days because no one else goes to see them. I like a good story, excellent dialog, and fantastic cinematography. One movie that comes to mind is Amilie. |
| Favorite music | I like Jazz and some folk music. I also listen to Loreena McKinnett and Sarah MacLachlen when I'm painting. |
| Favorite books | I like to read biographies. De Kooning has been my most recent favorite read. |
