Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
I will use twine to build an eight-string harp out of my bow, and, having asked an old woman at the well about the town history, I'll spin tales and songs to chill the blood and warm the souls of the townspeople, who I'll ask for a meal in exchange for news of neighbouring counties, and the promise to carry their news when I leave.
