| Introduction | Hi. My name is Rose. Not counting time spent at boarding schools, Brooklyn, NY has been home to me for all of my 27 years alive. It goes without saying, I love Brooklyn. But I am about to say good bye to all I know and say hello to a whole host of new experiences. In the next 90 days I’ll be leaving my job, giving up my apartment, getting married, saying my goodbyes and getting on a plane to Africa.
