| Introduction | Dr Lilla is a fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Obstericians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom and has spent the last 20 of his career treating women by the minimal invasive surgical technique for the various causes of pelvic pain. His passion is to explain to his patients the reason for her problem and to make it easy for her to form an opinion and make an informed decision about the subsequent management of her problem. He regards himself primarily, as an educator and to provide his patients with the current, up-to-date information about her condition. A good doctor is also a good listener! How often do we, as doctors relieve our patients' symptoms by only reassuring them that what they are experiencing is normal or due to anxiety caused by non-excising pathology? The human body is the most marvelous machine! We can spend our whole life-time trying to understand its intricate functions without success. Having said that, we do acknowledge advances which have been made over the centuries by pioneers in their fields and we should therefore be humble enough to admit the limitations of our knowledge and to admit our lack of knowledge. . |
