| Introduction | My name is Brandon Everett, I am the Program Director for an after school and summer science program for students 13-17 that focuses on issues in Health, Energy, Water, and Green Living. I have my B.S. in Biology and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Entertainment Business. I currently reside in San Diego, CA but am originally from Columbia, SC. I have lived and worked in San Diego for 2 1/2 years now. Some professional accomplishment attending Powershift 2009 in Washington DC, ME to WE DAY in Vancouver,BC, theGovernor's Global Climate Summit in Los Angeles, CA, and most recently I helped conducted Climate Change Research with Scientist and Researchers, and and 21 of my students in Glacier National Park, MT. My job has allowed me to fulfill my passion for science, photography,and working with people. The most joy I get out my job is seeing my students grow and gain their own personal accomplishments. One of my main goals is to continue to bridge the gap between the youth and the environment by continuing to show them you don't have to be the "science geek" to enjoy and protect our environment, even the "cool kids" enjoy and want to protect our environment. |
