| Introduction | I am 51 years old, married for 17 years. I have a wonderful loving family. I am an only girl, so yes I am spoiled and others will say the "high maintenance" type. I've been employed with the Federal government for over 27 yrs. and I am wondering now what the next chapter will hold. I am on that journey now to define my happiness and what brings me the most peace. I've always loved doing things which allowed me to be creative. I majored in Graphic Design in school and was very successful but never really pursued it as a career. I am told that I have a knack or gift with words and creative writing. Anyhoo, good or mediocre, I am using this impending career change as an opportunity to follow my heart. Most of my life I've let other things and people influence and define me. I come away knowing that I am really a wonderful person who is ready to explore all the facets of me and find out who I really am and MY purpose in life. I am seasoned and smarter with age I am in a much better place to enjoy the journey. I understand it's the journey that hold all the value now not the result of the journey. |
