| Introduction | Ohana Camp, a historic Vermont summer camp built in the early 1900's, was started to lodge the families of the campers who spent their summers in one of Lake Fairlee’s twelve sleep-away camps. In 2004 the Aloha Foundation of Fairlee, Vermont, had the foresight to purchase this historic camp, with the vision to turn it back into a family camp. Newly restored, this camp calls to families and friends who are looking for a week of clean air and a chance to re-connect with their families, and the natural world. 2008 will find the doors to Ohana Camp opened to family campers once more. The Aloha Foundation, Inc. founded in 1905, is known for it’s excellence in the field of children’s camps; Lanakila, Aloha Camp, Aloha Hive, Horizons Day Camp, Voyageurs Wilderness Trips and Hulbert Outdoor Center, the Foundation's year-round educational program. |
