| Introduction | Through the years I have coached or instructed numerous kids. Starting with my own son who has managed to make it all the way to the major leagues. Along with some other kids who have played professionally, division 1, and the lower levels of college baseball too. I'm still instructing some on a select individual basis. I've found that I spend about half my time counseling the parents of the players. That is the information that I plan on sharing here. Along with what I learned by observing how parents affected their kids baseball careers through high school. And, I think that some of it will be insightful. Remember the only goal a parent should have is the "development" of their player. Nothing else matters. Period. |
