| Interests | I've been the Art Director for Tor/Forge books since 1994, and Starscape books since it's launch in 2001. By far, the most exciting part of my job is working with all the wonderful artists....and becoming good friends with many of them. I'm on the board of Directors of the Society of Illustrators. In 2005 I helped Arnie and Cathy Fenner curate and organize an exhibition at the Museum of American Illustration of the first 11 years of Spectrum. (It looks as if we might be crazy enough to do it again in a few years.) Since then they have asked me to be on their advisory board. Daniel Dos Santos and I run a regular painting demo series, Art Out Loud, and annual charity auction of miniature sf/f paintings called MicroVisions. |
