| Introduction | My name is Alicia Villa and I have Type 1 Diabetes- Type 1 Diabetes doesn't have me. It took a long time for that to be true. I was diagnosed in November of 1998 when I was seven years old and it has not been a piece of cake. I'm hoping that my experiences will help others with Type 1 Diabetes and their loved ones realize that everyday is sweet. |
