| Introduction | InTransition is a non-profit, semi-annual magazine offering articles on transportation issues, research and trends. InTransition offers information and analysis relevant to researchers, policymakers, engineers, advocates, administrators, planners and others in the transportation field, all written in clear and concise language accessible to a general reader. The magazine emphasizes under-reported research, innovative approaches to addressing transportation problems and the exchange of ideas between academic disciplines. This blog is intended as a supplement to the magazine and a forum for the further discussion of transportation issues. However, its content is not meant to relect the views of either of the magazine's host agencies, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
